Intersect is a series of movie stills and digital prints created from a video piece recorded at the Morley Nelson
Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area located in Idaho. This work explores the juxtaposition between conserved land and immediate digital alterations to landscape created through the use of layering iPhone filters. These stills capture the rapid pace of the video and sudden changes to the environment at the intersection of smartphone technology and desert ecology.
